Amateur Radio Advanced Course
The Cambridge Amateur Radio Club is offering this course for those
who already have a Basic Amateur License. There are a number of
Amateur Radio Operators in Waterloo and surrounding regions that
may be looking to upgrade to an Advanced License. This course is
free but registration is required.


The "Canadian Amateur Radio Advanced Qualification Study Guide"
will be the required study guide and will be available for the course
at a price of $45 plus tax. Industry Canada -the licensing authority
in Canada for HAM Radio operators- has an Amateur Radio Exam
Generator which can be used to gage your readiness for the exam:

The course will start January 7, 2017 at the Hespeler Public Library
from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for 15 weeks. Registration is required

Anniversary in 2014. The club has always been part of the
communications landscape of Waterloo Region and is looking
forward to conducting this course.
